Strengths:

ANALYTICAL. You know how some people look way too deeply into things to the point of absurdity? Rose is that person-- she once had a nervous breakdown because the existence of a sprite of her plus her cat plus a princess octopus just clearly made no sense for her story arc. Everything has deeper meaning, a reason. Even if that reason is that you're gay, everything in your dreams is phallic, spoilers. She's a deep-thinker, to the point of over-thinking. Rose is the classical philosopher-- pretentious, with a varied vocabulary and a lot to say.

SELF-SACRIFICING. Hey, ever try to fly a bomb to a sun before and try to do it Alone? She is incredibly willing to just say "time to die" when it comes to saving others, particularly when anyone else could be the self-sacrificer. No. You must be the self-sacrificer. Let her die, she gonna do it. And she would not admit it's because she'd rather her loved ones live while she dies, than the versa, valuing their lives over her own.

FIERCE. Stab an ogre in the eyes and ride its body down a waterfall. This is where her passive aggression turns to full-on aggression, as it does in a fight. She's a knitting-needle wielding light-armored melee fighter who gonna fuck you up, son. She's even had her stint as being too fierce, such as her grimdark mental breakdown. She is not someone you want to trifle with, phyiscally or mentally-- as the analytical, passive-aggressive type she can eviserate with words as well as knitting supplies.

Weaknesses:

PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE. Rose's preteen years were defined by a passive-aggressive war with her mother, if regrettably so. That doesn't mean she still doesn't have a passive-aggressive streak that shows itself more often than her more aggressive streak. While she doesn't have a temper, when she's displeased she's prone to the snide and sarcastic. She's the type to sulk behind her snideness.

OBSESSIVE. Anything Rose does, Rose does to the extreme. She is a focused beast of her own intents. Whether that intent is breaking the game like no game has ever been broken before, or drinking alcohol to the point of alcoholic excess in need of an intervention; Rose doesn't usually half-ass things. She whole-asses them, as God intended. If you're going to do something, do it so hard your friends ask why the fuck you did that. And like her analytical nature implies, when she gets interested in something, she goes all in. There's a reason she's the one who wrote the most thorough Sburb review on gamefaqs, no one can outdo Rose's ability to pick a thing and make it Her Thing. The Thing, It Is Now Her Life. (In sburb's case, like, literally since it overwrote reality or whatever it's fine.)

SECRETIVE. Rose is the most private and cagey of her friends, preferring to keep her cards close to her chest. While she's loosened up with those close to her, she's overall not the time to volunteer her inner thoughts-- unless they're merely opinions on you, not herself. She's the psychologist type to want to know what everyone else is thinking, but keep her own thoughts to herself. She's just a cagey, flighty broad with a pretentious attitude and never half-asses anything.

Powers/Abilities:

SEER OF LIGHT
☀ Complete knowledge of fortune and the Most Fortuitous Path. (What does that mean? We just don't really know.)
☀ Light as an aspect actually means "fortune" and in a way, as the Seer of Light Rose can see the future. Somewhat. Sort of. Occasionally.

OTHER DUMB SHIT
🐱 Conditional immortality-- she cannot die unless the death is Heroic or Just. Any other deaths and she'll just revive.
🐱 Like other godtiers, she can float/fly.
🐱 Uses needlekind strife specibus.
🐱 Like all Homestuck weirdos, she uses a sylladex captchaloging inventory hammerspace. She specifically uses the tree fetch modus, which is elegantly frustrating.
🐱 Thanks to her dealings with the horrorterrors, Rose has officially been "blacked out" from the sight of anyone who might want to spy on what she's doing.
